Energy monitoring system provides a detailed understanding of your plant or building power consumption which is vital to taking energy conservation measures, tracking equipment status and avoiding downtime. With the wide range of wireless sensing inputs types coupled with hundreds of available commercial meters and sensors from Adaptive Wireless Solutions Ltd, wireless energy monitoring system is simpler and more cost-effective than ever before.
Metering Architecture
Electrical energy monitoring system consists of wireless enabled meters transmitting readings to router/repeater wireless devices (WC21). The nature of the application environment determines the number of router devices required to establish a relaible network. The readings are forwarded to the gateway device (EC1). Client software processes the meter data.
High Density Pulse Counting
Energy monitoring system uses a multi-input wireless device (WC21-16DI) to cost effectively monitor multiple pulse output meters. Router device (WC21) forwards pulses to gateway device (EC1). Date stored in gateway is readable by client software and/or existing BMS device.

Large Geography
Image shows coverage achieved in large campus type application. Reliable wireless coverage is achieved by applying network design guidelines. Application provides significant cost savings against wired solution.
Water Metering
Diagram shows connection details for wireless enabling a revenue grade water meter with pulse output. Wireless allows straight forward retrofitting of zonal meters allowing individual tenant billing/monitoring for excessive consumption or leaks.
Multi floor apartment energy monitoring system
Image shows typical wireless energy monitoring system design for use in multi floor apartment complex. Multi utility monitoring (gas, water, electricity ) and thermostatic temperature control all wireless enabled. Router devices (WC21) used to achieve reliable network performance. Utility and heating control data manged by gateway device (EC1) which makes data available to central monitoring system/BMS.
